Chenayi SiaChakanzwa : A Biography of devotion

Born third in a family of eight, Chenayi Siachakanzwa is a prominent businesswomen and founder of Tinovimba trust. She was born and raised in Negande (Kariba) but currently resides in Texas (USA), a young woman who believed and became

“Her academic journey began at Negande Primary School, followed by the completion of her secondary education at Mola Boarding School. She later relocated to Harare, where she pursued her Advanced Level studies. Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship, she went on to solidify her aspirations by earning a master’s degree in business administration and management from University of Arlington, Texas.

Her drive in business is something that can be traced back in her time in Harare where she owned and ran several boutique and clothing outlets. This vision is currently seen in Irving Texas through her Logistics companies she singles handedly owns. That same drive and ambition is what she hopes to pass on to our intended beneficiaries and this is her story…….

I was raised among some of the most vulnerable and impoverished families in my village. Though we had only the basics, my parents always made it a point to share with others, no matter how little we had. Many of my childhood friends walked long distances to school—barefoot, hungry, and without any school supplies. As a result, many dropped out. Of those who completed primary education, 95% never made it to high school. Some were married off into polygamous families at a young age, while others ended up on the streets, caught in cycles of crime, drug abuse, and hardship. Despite their academic potential and ambitions, the lack of resources forced them to abandon their dreams.

I, too, faced significant challenges. I married young and became a mother at the age of 17. Not long after, I became a single mother. I was still a child myself, trying to raise one. The journey was incredibly difficult, and I often longed for the chance to return to school. That longing made me realize just how vital education is in shaping one’s future. My own struggles—and the heartbreaking loss of my friend Charity due to poverty—compelled me to take action.

That is how *Tinovimba Trust* was born out of personal experience, pain, and a desire to make a difference. Our mission is to address the very challenges I once faced, helping young people stay in school, find support, and realize their potential. Today, as I reflect on how far I’ve come, I understand the transformative power of education and knowledge. I feel deeply blessed, and I’m committed to creating opportunities for others to thrive as well.

My greatest passion lies in uplifting my community and empowering the people of Negande Village. Tinovimba Trust exists to encourage, empower, and inspire. We strive to restore hope and dignity to individuals, reminding them of their worth and potential. I do this work out of a deep love for people and for God—and because it gives me a profound sense of purpose. I believe we are all created in God’s image, and each of us deserves the right to live a fulfilling and dignified life.
